Red Goblets are Fashionable for Christmas

For ages people have decorated their table with beautiful drinking vessels known as goblets. More than just beautiful, goblets are functional. Because they have a stem attached to a base, heat from the hands never has to reach the beverage inside, keeping it at optimum drinking temperature. The goblet bowl may be tall and thin like a champagne flute or short and wide like a Bordeaux glass. Wine glasses are often shaped a certain way for a certain wine. Water goblets are what most people imagine when they picture a goblet, with a larger bowl and shorter stem on a sturdy base. Whether you're drinking wine or water, red goblets make a festive addition to your table this holiday season.
